How I stay happy

In life there is always something to be happy about. No matter what day it is or what the weather is like, there is always a smile on my face.People always wonder why I'm always so happy. 

I stay happy because I always look at the bright side of life instead of being pessimistic. When you wake and see that there's a storm,smile and thank god for giving you another day on earth. When everything isn't going your way, work harder and strive for success and keep your head up high no matter how hard that may be.

In life there will always be disappointment after disappointment. It is how you deal with it that makes the difference. Instead of quitting get up and try again. Don't rely on anyone to get you where you want to be. When something negative happens in your life just smile. Think of the things you have and the things you achieved. When someone makes you angry smile. Smiling will always intimidate those who want to destroy you.

There are people out there that always bring you down. They may tell you that you can't do something or they may dishearten you when your trying to conquer the world. It is your duty to shut those people down. Choose to be optimistic.I'm not saying that I'm always happy. I have really bad days but I choose to get on with my life. There is no point in being negative all the time. Stop complaining. You should be grateful that you have a roof over your head,food to eat and  clothes to wear. No point in stressing over things that don't matter. 

BE HAPPY !  It makes life so much easier.

You don't need everyone's approval first

It frustrates me when I see people not being able to make decisions for themselves.

These days people like to make an impression on other people. These people are too afraid to choose for themselves.What they don't see is that seeking the need of approval kills your freedom.

Every time you have to make a decision you have to quickly run and get someones opinion. When that person doesn't agree with you,you change your life to suit them. That is not freedom.

People hold back their opinions and thoughts because they want someone to like them or they think people won't agree with what they think. They go on with life trying to please everyone around them accept themselves.

I see people having anxiety over people not liking that they chose to go to work than hanging out with their friends and going out to a popular party.That's ridiculous ! Why create stress and immense anxiety over something silly ?

Seeking approval lowers your performance level. You should be able to do things on your own without looking for someone to help you.

Seeking approval makes you turn down great opportunities because the person who you are seeking the approval from don't agree with the choice you want to make.

Everyone needs to grow and take on challenges and decisions. You should be able to make your own choices. If someone doesn't like the choices you are making then tough.You are the master of your own life.Everyone doesn't have to like you.

You need to accept yourself.You need to accept that your decisions are great.No one knows you better than yourself.

You don't need everyone's approval first.

You are good enough

In the past when certain opportunities came up I sometimes didn't go for them because I thought I wasn't good enough. When I saw smart people and outgoing people going for it, I got discouraged and I immediately gave up.

I then realised that I was being dumb.I am good enough to go for any opportunity that is offered to me. 

I am good enough because God chose to put me in this world.He saw what I could bring to the table.If God believed in me then I should believe in myself.

I am good enough because not every person out there has the talents that I have.There will never be a person out there that will be exactly like me.

I am good enough because I now believe in myself. No one out there is doing better than me because nobody out there can do better then me.

I am good enough because I am motivated to make my dreams and aspirations in life to come true.

No one is perfect in this world.Yes we all struggle. Most of us don't have our lives together yet.It's all okay.

It is our resistance that is causing our suffering.When something comes our way we should take it. 

We are all good enough. Don't let anyone bring you down. Everyone is smart and talented in their own ways.

Being Alone

Hey guys !

Sorry I didn't have a blog post last week.I was busy with exams but now I'll be more consistent and motivated.

Today I'll be talking about being alone.

Being alone can obviously be lonely and quiet and that can be a good thing.Everyone needs to be alone sometimes.It makes you think about life in a more magnified light. You start to look at the things around you and start wondering how you can make those things better. You start to appreciate what you have.

You don't need a lot of people around you all the time. I'm not saying that you should shut everyone out and stay in your bedroom the whole day. I'm saying that it's good to take time out for yourself.Everyone needs that quiet time to think and also to breathe. You should be able to take time out of your hectic lives and sit on a chair and think.

I'm an introvert so I love being alone most of the time. It's how I stay sane.Sitting in a room reading in silence or even just lying down on my bed looking at the ceiling makes me happy. I enjoy silence. Silence is really valuable to me. I always make sure to have my quiet time.

Being in a loud environment can really take a toll on you. You're hearing all these voices telling you what you should do.The annoying screams and laughs of people. There's also the bad decisions you end up making because you didn't think things through. Constant noise can make you go crazy.

Guys it's summer ! Make sure you have your time out and go out on your own. Quiet time makes the world look so much better.

Fear of change

I have never met a person who doesn't have a fear. Having a fear is totally normal. Fear of change is something I had to overcome pretty quick from a young age. I actually don't mind change now. But for some people it could be a challenge.

My mother was a single mom for a little while and because of that I moved school about seven times. At the beginning I used to hate it because I was shy and I found it hard to make friends. I also had to leave my friends behind. After the third time of moving schools I kinda got used to it.

I realised that there was nothing to be afraid of. I picked myself up and boosted my confidence level from 0-100. Change it Good ! I learned so many lessons good and bad. I gained confidence. I learned how to communicate with different types of people.

Just go with the flow ! If something has changed don't panic because everything happens for a reason. It allows you to experience different things in life.

Change makes you more open minded. If things were the same all the time then life will be boring. If you are a stubborn person then just suck it up and get on with life. There's no need to run from Change.Like me you will realize the benefits of change when you look back.

You are strong

When times are tough, you just need to keep going. When you feel like the walls are closing in and everything is against you, just think of the things you have. When people are continuously putting you down, ignore them and do what you think is right.

In life we will all come across obstacles.Times will get tough.Sometimes you will feel like crying and giving up but don't. YOU ARE STRONG.You will get through it.Look at the obstacles you have already tackled.You are not weak.You will overcome these obstacles and you will be VICTORIOUS. 

Just remember that you won't be miserable forever. There is a light under that tunnel.Bad days come and go.Just put your head down and get on with it.Life is too short. Strive for greatness.

There's a time for everything !

It annoys me when I see people competing with other people. Everyone's life is different and people need to get this into their heads.If Chantalle down the road gets a new 2016 car ,you don't need to run and get a new car too and also be in debt cause you couldn't afford it in the first place. If things are  happening for Chantalle don't be jealous cause your time will come.

I see many people that are flashing they're new things and look like they got their life together but behind the scenes they are broke and are out here taking out loans and are struggling to pay them off. You don't need to be doing that. If you are broke now, it doesn't mean you'll be broke forever. All you need to do it work hard for what you want.All of that hard work will soon pay off. 

You don't need to rush things. God will  give you what you want soon enough.All you need to do is keep quiet and get your life together the right way.Y'all need to chill. Get school,college etc over with first. Please stop skipping the line cause I'm telling you now things won't end well. Just keep positive and have faith and everything will come together. Work hard and play hard !

Do you boo..

I've noticed something these past few months. I've been super busy with things going on in my life. A lot of people who I thought were my ride or dies vanished from thin air ! When I didn't have a lot of things to do and when I was available 24/7, they were here for me but now that I have great things going for me and I am trying to build something for my self they leave.When I ask them for help or even try talking to them they throw some shade.

That got me wondering who my true friends are. I got so frustrated with myself and with them and I even tried to please them but then I realised that I wasn't the problem.In life you can't go around trying to please everyone. Not everyone will be with you forever. If they want to leave , let them as god has other plans for you. Just keep going and do your thing.

In life you will have a small amount of friends who will be there for you no matter what. Keep those friends and let the others go.Stop trying to make everyone like you cause they probably won't. Cherish the friendships you have and just live. Show those people what they're missing. You are great and don't ever change yourself for anyone. Do you Boo and be happy.

Time to make a change

I have spent seven years of my life procrastinating everything that went on in my life. I have let so many opportunities pass me by because I was lazy,self conscious and I was very shy. I'm not going to let that get in the way any more. 2016 is my year of self discovery. It is time for me to get out of this shell and show the world what I am made of. 

Two days ago I wasn't like this. I was in a negative mind set and something just clicked. I am not going to let anyone or anything get in the way of my dreams. I am going to pave my own way. I am not going to wait for anyone to guide me.I always just sat down and let life pass me by. I am a very chilled person and it can be a good thing sometimes but in other times it can be negative. I let way too many things go because it was too hectic and I didn't want a fast life style. Now I'm thinking about it and I'm like "why the hell did i let that opportunity go ?". 

It's time for me to go after my dreams. I know it will be a tough journey but I'm sick of just waiting for it to happen for me. I feel renewed and refreshed and also very inspired and motivated. I am very excited about the journey I'm about to take, especially because I have the support from the people that love me the most. I'm going to kick 2016 in the Ass !
